Christopher is an 8 year old boy diagnosed with Autism. He really enjoys Math's; especially solving math's problems and working with prime numbers, as well as talking about the universe and learning about animals. Christopher is extremely observant; one day after an excursion to a farm he was able to recall the most detailed information about his surroundings that no one else had noticed. He does not have any major behavioral issues, he is an honest and well-behaved boy. While Christopher is not exactly shy, he tends to keep to himself in class because he lacks certain communication and social skills. He has trouble with initiating conversations, and especially reading other students and the teachers facial expressions. If Christopher does not know exactly what he is going to be doing everyday he becomes confused and overwhelmed. A lot of the time Christopher doesn't finish his activities with the rest of the class because he doesn't realize how much time he has and becomes upset. Every now and again he has a sensory overload, usually sight, touch or smell and he retreats within himself; speaking with no-one and not eating lunch. Christopher also takes things literally, so specific instructions need to be given otherwise he will find them confusing. Christopher learns best through seeing things- maps, diagrams, pictures and so on work best for him.
Note: Christopher is not a real student. He simply resembles an individual one might be likely to encounter within the classroom
